2010 Barbera - Exuberant and lush; a torrent of ripe plum and blueberry mingles with notes of oriental tea and black pepper, then glides into subtle notes of smoky oak. These sumptuous flavors carry through to the palate and linger on the finish. Barrel aged 28 months. 100% Lodi Appellation. 13.8% alcohol 221 Cases produced $29 Retail, $23.20 Wine Club, Glass $9
2011 Chardonnay, Ruth’s Vineyard, Mokelumne River, Lodi - Fresh, lively green apple, almond, shortbread, and cream flavors wash easily across the palate, leaving a splash of jasmine in their wake. The lingering finish is dry, with acids that accentuate the fruit flavors and carry them through to the long finish. 100% barrel fermented in neutral oak with multiple yeast strains, aged ‘Sur lie’ with no secondary fermentation. Ruth’s Vineyard is a special block of family grown Chardonnay named for Mike’s mother. 100% Lodi Appellation. 14.3 % alcohol 547 Cases produced $24 Retail, $19.20 Wine Club, Glass $7
2010 Franknvine – Complexity be damned, it’s an amazing blend! Perfectly ripe aromas of blackberry and black currant lead the way to flavors of chocolate, cigar box, rose petal and black licorice. On the palate, you’ll enjoy fine, lengthy tannins and lingering flavors of licorice. Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Zinfandel, Old Vine Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Malbec. 2010 Intrepid – A big, dense, and decadent wine! This blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc blasts flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, sweet tobacco, graphite, violet and vanilla onto the palate. The complex flavors combine with firm and well-integrated tannins to create a long-lasting finish. 68% Syrah, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc. 2010 Merlot – A seductive and intriguing Right Bank Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petite Verdot. The wine showcases flavors and aromas of blueberry, blackberry, cedar, nutmeg, and vanilla. The fine, silky tannins start out subtle, expanding as the wine evolves on the palate. 2010 Old Vines Zinfandel, Mohr-Fry Ranches®, Block 817, Mokelumne River, Lodi – Produced from a distinctive 1963 planting of Zinfandel, this eccentric and charming handcrafted wine embodies rich aromas, complex flavors, balanced acids and an opulent texture. The solid flavors of cranberry, raspberry, slate, mint, and anise wash over your palate and linger on through to the spicy finish. 100% Zinfandel, Certified Sustainably Grown to Lodi Rules®. 2010 Petite Sirah - Radiant fruit, sturdy tannins and refreshing acids come together to create this full-bodied wine. This classic petite syrah has flavors of blueberry, blackberry and ripe plum, which spill over into notes of coconut, clove and anise. The tannins are caressing and velvety, which made for a long, lingering finish. Barrel aged 40 months. 100% Lodi Appellation. 14.1% alcohol 205 Cases produced $38 Retail, $30.40 Wine Club, Glass $10.
2010 Sangiovese - Classic flavors of dark cherry and red plum dominate the palate, while notes of freshly cracked peppercorns, walnut skin and licorice percolate throughout. Mouth-watering acids and structured tannins bring about a distinctive and long lasting finish. 2009 Tempranillo- Tempranillo is Spain’s answer to Cabernet Sauvignon, and it thrives in Lodi’s Mediterranean climate. This wine expresses the terrific flavors of Tempranillo while presenting a soft tannin structure. The grapes were hand harvested, fermented with multiple yeast strains, and aged for 30 months in a combination of 45% new French and American oak. 14.4% alcohol 180 Cases produced $27 Retail, $21.60 Wine Club, Glass $9
2009 The Bride – This full-bodied wine is a harmonious blend of Barbera, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Sangiovese forms layers of raspberry and red currant flavors that unfold into notes of sage, rose petal, sweet tobacco and star anise. Well-integrated tannins are smooth and silky and contribute to a long finish.
